Special Pre-Conference Workshop: Digital Accessibility From A to Y!

We invite you to join TxDLA at Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, Texas on Monday March 20th for a special Digital Accessibility preconference workshop as you kick off your 2023 TxDLA learning adventure. The workshop will also be featured as an extended session during our Virtual Conference on April 5. Workshop registration for March 20 is free for any paid TxDLA Conference attendees, and is limited to the first 40 registrants. Please select the workshop during the conference registration process, or if you have already registered, please contact Lisa Tomsio to add the workshop to your registration. Participants in the Virtual Conference do not need to pre-register for the April 5 workshop.

Wednesday, April 5, 10:45-12:15 pm (Virtual)

TxDLA, we understand that digital accessibility is important for everyone engaged in digital learning.  Educators, course developers, and web page designers are coming to believe digital accessibility helps people with identified disabilities. At this free pre-conference workshop, explore digital accessibility issues and identify strategies and activities that will meet the goal of improving and empowering online content and help educators understand how to prioritize accessibility. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and ask questions specific to their curriculum and workplace needs. Participants will leave with “ready to implement strategies” for their specific role at their institution.
